Hotel Transylvania

Hello world!  I’m idle at the moment so I’ll share a few finds which I know for sure most doll collectors already have.  I took a lazy stroll around one of my favorite toy store yesterday.  I saw a few interesting dolls.

Made to Move Fitness Yoga Barbie (this one is curvy) the more I look at her, the more I felt like buying it on the next mall sale!  I liked the facial expression and the legs!  LOL!  She looks so fresh, the make up, the outfit, hmmmp!  But, I didn’t like the elbow joints.  The gap is too wide.  I am trying to dissuade myself.

Another doll that catches my fancy is the Limited Edition Hotel Transylvania Mavis.  She’s about the size of Skipper.  I was in a hurry, sorry for the photos.  I wasn’t able to take a snap of the back and the manufacturer’s info.

She comes in 2 types, the one in Wedding Dress, and the one in Bat outfit.

I’m not sure how many points of articulation she have, I only saw that her elbows are bendable, as for the knees, I’m not sure.  She’s expensive (at least for me) at Php1,200++ so that’s about $23++ whew!

I left the store.  I have promised myself that the next doll I’m going to buy would be the new Bratz!

Barbie On Sale?

I thought so, but nope!  I went to Megamall 3 day Sale this afternoon and went straight to that store of collectible toys JAE located at the basement near Ace Hardware.  This is where I got 2 of my reproduction Barbie years ago.  I have no plans of buying anything, just want to window shop.

The past months, I didn’t see any dolls on display here, but this day, there were plenty.  Some from 80’s and 90’s, there were Oscar Dela Renta couture collections too, Philippine Centennial Barbie, Kelly Dolls, etc.

Anyway, I thought they’re “ON SALE” but to my dismay, they are “FOR SALE” meaning no discount.  Too expensive for my budget.  For a true blue collector out there, they may find these cheap.
